Los Angeles experienced citywide celebrations after the Los Angeles Dodgers clinched a nail-biting seven-game World Series championship. Fans across the globe joined Angelenos in celebration, marking the first time in a quarter-century that a team has achieved consecutive championships.
Victory Parade Attracts Massive Turnout
Local events featured a downtown parade on Monday morning, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and spontaneous parties throughout the city.
Social media videos depict countless of Los Angeles residents flooding city center avenues, many carrying homemade signs and Dodger flags. The team was seen traveling proudly on a double-decker bus through the masses, hoisting the championship trophy proudly.
